When booking your initial visit, payment is requested in advance to secure your appointment. This can be paid securely over the phone or via a text message link to secure online payment. If you have contacted the Glasgow Osteopathic Centre on 0141 632 1266 to book your initial visit, please give the receptionist your mobile telephone number and email address and I will contact you directly to arrange payment.
Prior to your first treatment, you will be asked to complete a Consultation Form. This gives me a background of your health, lifestyle and any restrictions or limitations to your treatment in regard to any specific conditions or symptoms. There are some conditions where therapies may not be advisable or that advice from your GP or medical professional may be sought prior to the treatment. Please note that some personal information may be required and this is strictly private and confidential.
Please let me know at the time of booking, either on the notes section when booking online or by contacting me directly, if there are any physical, mental or emotional restrictions, limitations, adaptations or special requirements for your treatment. As a professional therapist, it is important to me that I am able to provide the best possible environment and treatment for you.
If you are suffering from a cold or other contractible infection or disease, please do not book or attend an appointment until your symptoms have subsided and you are well again. Bodywork therapies are not advised or recommended, for either client or therapist, during these times.
The only treatment available in the first trimester of pregnancy is Reiki. Please let me know at the time of booking if you are pregnant and at which stage of your pregnancy.
Same Day Booking
Appointments booked online with less than 24 hours notice (for example, appointments booked in the morning for the afternoon of the same day) are not guaranteed to be fulfilled. If you would like to book on the day, please contact me in the first instance for availability.

Reschedule, Cancellation and Missed Appointments
The conditions for reschedule, cancellation and missed appointments apply to all appointments, including Animal Reiki and distance sessions, whether they have been booked directly with myself, online or at a centre.
Please note that 48 hours notice of reschedule or cancellation is required either through the online booking system (if you have booked online) or by email, text or telephone – appointments booked through the Glasgow Osteopathic Centre can be cancelled by calling the Centre on 0141 632 1266 or by contacting me directly by telephone, email or text. Please do not notify of cancellation of appointments through social media (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) as messages may not be received in time.
If less than 24 hours notice of reschedule or cancellation is given, a fee will be charged. The fees are: 30 minute appointments – £15, 60 minute appointments – £20 and 90 minute appointments – £30. Payment is required by a PayPal link sent via email.
If less than 12 hours notice of reschedule or cancellation is given, the full treatment cost will be charged. Missed appointments are also subject to a fee of the full treatment cost. Payment is required by a PayPal link sent via email.
Please note that if you arrive late for your appointment, the session will continue to end at the scheduled time.
Gift vouchers are valid for 3 months from the purchase date – this date will be on your voucher. Gift vouchers are non transferable, non refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash equivelance.
Reiki Training Courses
A deposit is required to secure your place on all training courses – please see the appropriate Reiki Course page for details of cost for each course.
Please note that your place for an event, workshop or course is only secured when the deposit is paid. If you have expressed an interest or have asked that a place be secured for you for an event, workshop or course by email, telephone or text, your place is only secured once the deposit has been finalised and you have received confirmation by email.
Please note that if you have seen the event, workshop or course advertised on social media, including Facebook and Twitter, your place is not secured if you select ‘Going’ on the Facebook event page, liking the event tweet or requesting a place to be held for you via social media. It is only secured once the deposit has been finalised and you have received confirmation by email.
If you have booked your place on a course and are unable to attend, at least 7 days notification of cancellation is required. The deposit is non returnable with less than 7 days notice of cancellation. If you miss the course without notice, an additional missed fee of £35 is applied.
If you are unable to attend the course date you have booked and would like to attend the next scheduled course date, please give at least 7 days notice – there is no fee to reschedule for an upcoming course with more than 7 or more days notice. With less than 7 days notice, there is a fee of £35 in addition to the deposit. If you give less than 48 hours notice of rescheduling, the initial deposit is non returnable and an additional deposit, with the remaining course balance, is required to secure your place on the next scheduled course.

Mailing List / Newsletter subscription
Only your first name, surname and email address are used for newsletter mailing list subscriptions and you will be asked to opt in. These are the details held by either Flourish’s own website or a third party marketing site such as MailChimp and have been shared with your consent during opt in and for the purposes of marketing and/or newsletter updates only. You can opt out of Flourish newsletters at any time by visiting the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any newsletter or by contacting me.
Your contact details are stored on the online booking system and is used solely for booking purposes and appointment reminders. Only Flourish have access to your booking details.
Electronic Communications (Email)
Emails are sent with via an encrypted provider, GoogleMail/GMail, to ensure secure electronic communications.
Your data is stored securely, both electronically and paper, with either password protection and/or locked storage. Email communications are encrypted and attachments pertaining to distance sessions or personal consultation may be password protected.
You have the right to access any data on file, with the information supplied within one month of your request. Your personal data is held for 10 years, subject to the legal/contractual obligations outlined by professional membership and/or insurance bodies. After this time, all personal data is confidentially disposed of securely.
